If you switch energy provider via a cashback website such as TopCashback or Quidco, you can't claim the Octopus referral bonus as well. In some cases you can still earn £40-£50 cashback for a dual-fuel switch, but you won't be paid until your supply has been live for a minimum of 2 full months!
